Join Sustainable Food Center for this intermediate beekeeping workshop. This workshop is classroom-based and is geared towards those that have already taken an introductory beekeeping class and/or currently have hives. Participants will learn about and how to identify the pests and diseases most common to bees in Central Texas, and will be introduced to various organic and all-natural methods for treatment and prevention.
Classes are for adults. Youth ages 12 and up may attend with purchase of an additional ticket and close parent/guardian supervision during class.
Registration closes one business day before class. All attendees must purchase tickets to attend. No walk-ins allowed. RSVP here.
