Almost one year ago, Texans across the state suffered from an unprecedented failure of our electricity grid system, as Winter Storm Uri placed extreme demand on an unprepared system. This failure led to hundreds of preventable deaths and billions of dollars in losses via infrastructure damage and foregone economic opportunities.

As we approach the one-year anniversary of this catastrophic event, Interim CEO, Brad Jones, has agreed to participate in a Listening Tour session hosted by the League of Women Voters on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, via Zoom. The event will be open to the public and the details can be found below:

WHO: The League of Women Voters, Rep. Gina Hinojosa, and ERCOT Interim CEO Brad Jones
WHAT: “Listening Tour” event
WHEN: Wednesday, January 26th from 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Although this event is open to the public, registration will be required. Register here: https://ercot.zoomgov.com/…/WN_RQJf408iQhy7-tTiI9itLA.
