“Don’t Frack With Us” OLB Action – Sign Holding

We all know how disastrous fracking (hydraulic fracturing) has been on Texans' water, land, and air quality.

But did you know that Austin Energy is looking to add an additional 1,000 megawatts of natural gas into this Summer's energy generation plan update? (click for background info)

Yep. So we thought we'd invite you to join us for some fun with fracking education. Our friends with the Austin Overpass Light Brigade have organized 2 events to help educate others and yourselves about fracking and the need for more renewable energy in Austin.

Reeling with confidence from our last highly successful action, we are going to attempt a bigger message this time, in two different, and new, locations.

The message: "DON'T FRACK WITH US"
The locations: The 11th street overpass for about an hour, then a short stroll to our state capitol building.
