    • BASTA is kicking off a series of Community Teach-Ins on Tenants’ Rights in Texas in partnership with each Austin Council Member in their District! In a city that is majority renter like Austin, it is imperative that tenants know their rights and how eviction laws have changed this year because of SB38. Each Teach-In will have a program filled with essential information shared through presentations and fun skits!

    On April 7th, join the District 5 office and BASTA to learn how state and local laws affect renters and what rights you have to a safe, dignified home!
