Destination Brew Fest is a boutique beer festival featuring some of the best lagers and farmhouse style beers from Texas and beyond. Serving as the launch of The Texas Brewshed Alliance, the festival is hosted on Vista Brewing’s beautiful 21-acre property in the Texas Hill Country, just southwest of Austin and about an hour and a half north of San Antonio.
Festival guests will have an opportunity to dive deep into the story and history behind these beers with brewery representatives and a hand-picked range of specialty partners.
The VIP area will feature a guided beer tasting and panel discussion with national brew personalities moderated by Craft Pride, rare beer pourings from around the world and a sweet swag bag including a YETI tumbler.
During the festival, sample a range of unique Belgian beers with the experts from Mort Subite, one of the best Belgian beer bars in the country. Chill out in the shade and stay hydrated in the YETI Base Camp or swing from the trees in the Kammok Hammock Grove.
Check out the sweetest draft system in Austin from Rolling Refreshment, built inside a 1976 International Scout!
Cool down with Richard’s Rainwater while relaxing with your farm-fresh, wood-fired food options from Vista Brewing. Play a game of cornhole or giant jenga in the ReWork Project Game Zone.

WHAT’S IN A “BREW DAY”?
Malt, hops, yeast….and WATER! We’ve gathered the experts behind the four fundamental ingredients in beer to showcase the importance and effect that each has on the brewing process. Be sure to stop by the “BREW DAY” area. Great ingredients = great beer!
**** The Texas Yeast Lab Totally into [brewing] science?! You’ll love learning from these experts about the magic of fermentation and the role that yeast plays in producing certain flavors in craft beer.
**** YCH Preservative, bittering, aroma, flavor….different hop varieties produce unique qualities in our beer. Visit one of our favorite suppliers from the Pacific Northwest, 100% grower-owned YCH for a Hop Sensory Experience!
**** Blacklands Malt – Local malt makes for truly local craft beer. Since 2012, Blacklands Malt has blazed the trail for Texas-grown malting barley statewide, providing brewers with access to local malt for the first time in Texas history. Visit their vintage truck inside the festival tent to sample the Texas-grown malt that goes into many local brews.
**** And last but not least, the The Texas Brewshed Alliance will be sharing their research and knowledge on the impact that unique water sources have on our beer.
