DECA / REED Announcement

Join the Diversity Ethnic Chamber Alliance (DECA) at Austin Central Library. DECA will be announcing the initial draft of the REED Plan!
The event will be held in the Demonstration Area at Austin’s Central Library. The entrance is located on the 2nd St. side of the building.
About the REED Plan:
The REED Plan is a 1st of it’s kind in the nation. A regional economic development plan built by and for minority economies; a visionary blueprint for nurturing our region’s diverse economies over the next five years. REED Plan is not meant to replace regional plans but rather to compliment the work with a micro lens on assisting minority businesses. REED Plan is community driven; Incorporating community voices in a plan ensures it reflects diverse needs and fosters ownership, leading to more effective and equitable outcomes. About DECA:
The Diversity Ethnic Chamber Alliance is a 501c3 and is comprised of the Austin LGBT Chamber, Greater Austin Asian Chamber, Greater Austin Black Chamber, and the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Through a spirit of collaboration DECA works to encourage diversity and economic growth within the Greater Austin Region.
