The City of Austin needs your support to help prevent displacement. Community feedback will help guide funding priorities for the next three years.
In 2020, Austin voters approved
Project Connect. Our local public transit system will expand to connect more parts of our city than ever before. Investments of this size can bring great benefits. They can also potentially impact displacement as property values in nearby neighborhoods rise. To address this, voters also approved $300 million dedicated to anti-displacement.
As our city continues to grow and develop, we must do a better job to keep communities in place, while providing much-needed infrastructural improvements and transit services. To do this we must center the ideas of our residents to address displacement.
Join the Community Advisory Committee for a conversation to share your ideas about how $75 million should be invested toward anti-displacement efforts.
