CodeNEXT Mobility Prescription Community Walk

How will the new Land Development Code affect mobility in Austin?
Join the CodeNEXT team for an interactive community walk beginning at Monkey Nest Coffee (5353 Burnet Road). Using the Mobility Code Prescription, we will explain the aspirations possible in a new code, offering on-the-ground examples to give attendees an informed perspective and to hear community feedback.
There will be two walks at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. We will be covering the same topics on both walks, but the conversations and feedback during the two walks may differ. You are welcome to attend both walks.
As part of the walk, we will be stopping at the Burnet Road Better Block event, which will be held on Burnet and Clay and demonstrates permanent and temporary pedestrian improvements in the area. The Mobility Walk event is free and open to all. Attendees are encouraged to register through Eventbrite, wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and bring a smartphone to take photos and share on social media using#CodeNEXT.
