Join the Austin Chapter of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps on the sidewalk of the Texas State Capitol for a day of climate action!

The event will be a legal mask-mandatory, socially-distanced demonstration. It will feature talks from Climate Reality leaders to spread climate crisis awareness, share how the community can join the effort, explain how it impacts our communities, and possible local/regional solutions. This is a family friendly event so please bring your children so that we may inspire future generations!

The rally is aimed at increasing local outreach and raising community morale during these times of social unrest, the pandemic, and the climate crisis that exacerbates them all.

Those that want to contribute, but can’t attend, can create signs or donate items (masks, hand sanitizer, water, etc). Contact the event organizers if you would like to support with donations!

We are also using this opportunity to team up with other environmental/climate coalitions to build mutual aid networks and collaborate on future projects. If you would like to speak on behalf of your climate/justice/environmental organization please contact the event organizer so we can get you added to the list. If you are a BIPOC that has been impacted or will be impacted by the climate crisis we would also like to provide you a platform to express your concern so please contact us so we can add you to the list as well!

The event will be in accordance with social distancing rules. Please maintain at least 6ft or more distance between each other, sanitize your hands regularly, avoid touching your face, avoid physical contact, and most importantly please wear a mask!
