It’s no secret that the mobility space is changing dramatically. Automated vehicles, TNCs, and flying cars are just a few of the emerging and visionary technological advances that are shifting how we think about personal mobility. However, despite the quickly shifting mobility landscape, the way Austin conceives and implements transportation planning remains a relatively static affair centered on public servants and planners.
Since 2014, Glasshouse Policy has explored new ways to bring the public into the policy making process. Join us for a presentation and conversation about the bright future of transportation planning and how more community engagement, not less, could lead to more efficient, impactful, and aspirational mobility outcomes.
