Clean Lady Bird Lake

In partnership with the City of Austin Watershed Protection Department, Keep Austin Beautiful organizes large-scale cleanups every other month, volunteer trainings, and a Rapid Rain Responder initiative to tackle trash from 25 locations along the shoreline and from watercrafts on and along Lady Bird Lake.

Large-scale, bi-monthly cleanups are scheduled for the second Saturday of every other month, except October when the cleanup is the 3rd Saturday. 2017 dates are February 11, April 8 – Clean Sweep, June 10, August 12, October 21, and December 9. Registration opens four weeks prior to each event.
