  • Come out April 14th from 7 pm to 8 pm to La Madeleines at 5493 Brodie Ln Austin, TX 78745, to listen to Amy Stansbury talk about how to make a difference and become more engaged in your community’s future politically and in other ways. Come anywhere from 6:30 pm to 7 pm to get your food ordered and drinks purchased, and to socialize!

    Amy Stansbury is the Editor-In-Chief of The Austin Common, a local news site and civic education organization that uses art and social media to make learning about local government easy, accessible, and even a little bit fun. She’s also the host of The Austin Common Radio Hour, a podcast & radio show on 91.7 FM and the co-author of “A Beginner’s Guide To Local Government,” a coloring book/zine that teaches Austinites how local government works and how to make their voice be heard on the local level.
