From TreeFolks

TreeFolks will be teaming up with fellow non-profit Ecology Action to lead a tree ID walk at Circle Acres Nature Preserve, a hidden central east Austin gem that was once a landfill.

This event is free, but space is limited, so please register to attend at www.treefolks.org/tree-id.

TreeFolks tree identification workshops, walks, and hikes aim to teach you how to identify the trees that you see around you every day. In our tree identification activities, we’ll discuss trees common to central Texas, species diversity, wildlife habitat, and tree anatomy. No two tree ID workshops are alike and no matter how much you already know about trees, you’re sure to learn something new each time!
