Christmas Tree Recycling at Zilker

All residents can drop off their trees, decorations and stands removed, for recycling at Zilker Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014
  • Sunday, Jan.12, 2014

If you or your organization is interested in volunteering at Zilker Park during the collection days please contact Joe Washington at (512) 971-5708.

Trees collected at Zilker are turned into much which will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis to Austin residents starting Thursday, Jan. 23. Please be bring your own tools and storage containers for the loading and transporting the mulch.
