Camping 101 Family Class

Camping can be so much fun, but it can also be kind of daunting. Are you or your family interested in camping more but you just feel like you don’t have your camping skills dialed?
If so, this class is for you! Earth Native will teach you everything you need to know to get the most out of your camping trips.
Topics covered will include:
How to set up a basic tent and tarp shelter
Starting and maintaining camp fires (and fire safety)
Basic knot tying
Using a camp knife and hatchet effectively and safely
Awesome campfire cooking methods that you have probably never heard of
Food management (keeping the critters away)
Basic outdoor navigation skills
Packing for success and taking care of your gear
Great camping trip planning practices and gear recommendations
Getting the most out of your time under the stars

Cost: $75/adult, $35/child – kids 6 and under are free ($200 for family of 4 or more)
