One of our favorites is coming back to grace our porch this fall. Brand New Key boasts a wonderful Americana/ Bluegrass sound with some porch stompin’ to boot! Join them for a very special Halloween dress up show – come sporting your spookiest, kookiest getup!

BIO:
Jack Kaulfus sings in BNK, plays rhythm guitar, and still writes songs about 1996 (like it never ended).

Amy plays mandolin, sings back-up, and occasionally spazzes onstage into a form of dance while jamming with Jack and Jill. She hails originally from the flatlands of north Texas and has played some form of stringed instrument since childhood but landed pretty squarely on guitar and mandolin in her yonder years. Most recently, she retired from an 8-year stint on electric guitar plus props with Austin’s own ecclecto-art-pop band, Darling New Neighbors. In Brand New Key, Amy gets to sing sweet harmonies and travel acoustically lighter with her mighty, mighty mando.

Jill plays cajon and percussion in Brand New Key. She grew up in the foothills of the Blue Mountains in Pennsylvania, and has been playing the drums for as long as she could swim or ride a bike… which is a long freakin’ time. Always up for a new adventure, Jill is enjoying adding afro-peruvian sounds to BNK’s blend of porch-grass and folk.
