Come join us for a fun-filled day of celebration and learning at the George Washington Carver Museum, Cultural and Genealogy Center! On Sat Feb 22, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, we are hosting an exciting event dedicated to honoring and educating the little ones about the rich history of Black culture, with an emphasis on the 2025 Black History Month theme – African Americans and Labor.
Bring your children along to immerse them in an interactive experience that will ignite their curiosity and appreciation for Black history. We have planned a range of engaging activities, including storytelling sessions, arts and crafts workshops, and interactive exhibits.
Let your kids explore the remarkable achievements of Black Americans. Through hands-on experiences and creative play, they will gain a deeper understanding of the incredible contributions made by Black individuals throughout history.
Mark your calendars and join us for a day of discovery, inspiration, and celebration at the Black History Month Kid’s Day at the Carver! We can’t wait to see you there!
