Bike Austin Happy Hour

Spring is in the air and bikes seem to be everywhere around town! This “bike fever” sweeping Austin is very exciting, but with the cyclist tragedies of 2012 still fresh on our minds our excitement is tempered with concern. So we’re stepping up our outreach efforts at events this year to share tips on smart cycling, safer routes, and community resources that are key for a better, safer experience. Additionally, we’re educating people about, and building support for, more and better bikeways.
We know that peer-to peer education is effective and the most valuable asset we have to do that is you! Our members, supporters, and volunteers have a wealth of information and experience that directly benefit lesser experienced riders. We need your help to make Austin a better place to bike!
If you're interested in volunteering at events, spreading the word about our work, and helping Bike Austin grow, then save the date and come participate!
