*Please note – this event was originally scheduled for October 20th but was rescheduled due to the weather*

On November 4th , we’re hosting a FREE beginner’s Tree Identification Hike, in partnership with Shoal Creek Conservancy and the Austin, Texas – Your City Government, at Austin Central Library, Austin Public Library (710 W Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78701) from 10 am to 1 pm in order to promote our Urban Forest Stewards class beginning in January.

Representatives from Shoal Creek will talk about trail stewardship and nature in the city, while our Education Coordinator, Collin McMichael explains the basics of tree identification. Feel free to attend whether you want to brush up on your tree knowledge or dive into your new world of tree identification.

Please wear close-toed shoes and bring lots of water. Refreshments will be provided. All ages are welcome! We’ll see you there! RSVP here:https://shoalcreekconservancy.org/event/tree-id-tour-on-shoal-creek-with-treefolks/
