Become A Bike Bus Leader

Join our free bike leader training clinic to become an Austin Bike Bus Leader. You’ll learn how to:

• Lead students on a safe, pre-planned bike route to/from school
• Teach and reinforce safe riding habits (helmet fit, hand signals, road positioning)
• Coordinate with parents, school staff, and SRTS personnel

This training is supported by the City of Austin’s Safe Routes to School Crossing Guard program and the Get There ATX program. Please fill out this form to attend the training.

We will prioritize the schools/neighborhood routes that are recruit 3-5 Bike Bus Leaders for training session. We will be hosting multiple trainings throughout the school year.
