TreeFolks is teaming up with Save Barton Creek Association for a tree ID walk and swim. We will take a guided walk on the Barton Creek Greenbelt to learn about the trees and find some swimming holes along the way. We’ll finish up at Barton Springs Pool where we’ll learn about the spring and explore the source.
Space is limited so please register to attend at treefolks.org/tree-id. The event is free, but entrance to Barton Springs is $3 for residents and $8 for non-residents.
TreeFolks tree identification workshops, walks, and hikes aim to teach you how to identify the trees that you see around you every day. In our tree identification activities, we’ll discuss trees common to central Texas, species diversity, wildlife habitat, and tree anatomy.
