Pachamama Alliance 
The impulse you experienced in the above video was started by the Pachamama Alliance. The Pachamama Alliance came into being in response to a request from the Achuar, an indigenous people deep in the Amazon region of Ecuador. They were seeking a partnership with people from the modern world who could aid them in protecting the rainforest and their cultural heritage. Out of this partnership, it has come to be recognized that indigenous insight can make a critical contribution in helping us address the complex issues facing our modern world. Consequently, the Pachamama Alliance developed a two-fold mission: to preserve the Earth’s tropical rainforests by empowering the indigenous people who are its natural custodians, and to contribute to the creation of a new global vision of equity and sustainability for all. Awakening the Dreamer Symposium 
The Awakening the Dreamer Symposium was born out of the promise to inform and re-formulate the consciousness of our modern world. It is about the crises facing our planet, but even more it is about the solutions that are already presenting themselves – in human form, technological form, and even in spirit. This empowering program combines exquisite videos, expert speakers and intriguing exercises, all welcoming you into a state of "blessed unrest" and grounded optimism about our future. Become an Awakening the Dreamer Facilitator 
There is now an opportunity to become an Awakening the Dreamer facilitator yourself by enrolling in the upcoming training at Blackwood Land Institute May 14-16. See information and flyer on our website. There is no question that the world is still in need of more and more people passing on the message of Awakening The Dreamer (ATD): To bring forth an environmentally sustainable, socially just, and spiritually fulfilling human presence as the guiding principle of our time.
