Zero Waste is a visionary goal, guiding people in changing their lifestyles and practices to emulate nature, where all discarded materials are designed to become resources for others to use. The City of Austin is committed to reaching Zero Waste with at least 90-95 percent diversion from landfill by 2040.
The Austin Zero Waste Alliance (AZWA) is committed to educating the public and pressing our decision-makers on this ambitious plan. Join us!
