This month’s speaker is Dave Sullivan, PhD., who will speak about local environmental issues including greenhouse gas emissions (and how to address them with better land use planning) and about local fine particulate matter.
David W. Sullivan is a Research Associate at The University of Texas at Austin Center for Energy and Environmental Resources, where he has been a staff member since September 2005. Active in local community affairs, Dave has served on a handful of non-profit steering committees and on City of Austin citizen boards including the Planning Commission (16 years) and Zero Waste Advisory Commission. He currently serves on the City’s Environmental Commissio
Dave is a long-time Sierra Club member. He travels primarily by bicycle, bus and walking. He lives in the Clarksville neighborhood with his wife, and has one grown daughter.
