August Meeting: The Parents’ Climate Community

In this meeting, we’ll hear from members of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby about the kind of work they do and how we might get involved.

We’ll also chat about how sustainability informs our parenting, and brainstorm a list of ‘demands’ to support the youth climate strike on September 20th.

*If you haven’t been to Brentwood Social House, it’s a family-friendly spot with an indoor toy room and a pirate-themed playscape. That said, unless you have a babe-in-arms or an independent older kid who doesn’t need constant supervision, you might want to come solo or bring a partner/second caregiver who can generally watch them while we talk. If that’s not possible, though, no worries–we’ll make it work!
