August Green Drinks with Austin Energy

Come stay cool with us down south at next month's Green Drinks happy hour. Danielle Murray, manager of Solar Energy Services at the City of Austin, will talk with us about the city's residential solar rebate as well as other incentives and information about making your home solar-powered. We'll be meeting inside at Radio Coffee & Beer at Manchaca and Ben White. Come grab a cold brew or an icy beer and enjoy the company! 

Austin Energy provides incentives to help reduce the cost of your solar energy system or solar water heater installation. Your solar energy system or water heater may also qualify for a 30% federal tax credit and a property tax exemption. If you have been thinking of installing a solar PV system for your home or business, now is a good time to get started. Solar energy system popularity has risen sharply, decreasing the cost of installation. Austin Energy offers incentives that help with the cost of installation and save you money on your monthly bill.
