On April 27th, Austin Energy’s Tim Harvey will sit down with the Solar Austin community to discuss the city’s ever-evolving relationship with renewable energy.

Offering insider updates on commercial solar and changes to Austin Energy’s solar portfolio, Tim gives us a glimpse of the future and the ways that Austin Energy’s current renewable energy programs are setting the stage for our green future. He will also shine some light on what the utility is doing for citizens to get more involved with renewables.

Bring your drink and tune in to learn more about the various challenges Austin Energy has encountered and the lessons learned over this 35 year journey, as our city gears up to address current community needs, through customer driven and experience informed programs.

About the Speaker: Tim Harvey is the Customer Renewable Solutions Manager for Austin Energy. Passionate about Texas’ clean energy transition, environmental conservation, and his Austin community, Tim has worked with Austin Energy in the Solar Program since 2006. Over the course of his career, Tim has played key roles in the development and operations of Austin Energy’s renewable program offerings and solar rate designs. Tim not only talks the talk, but walks the walk, participating in Community Solar and driving an electric vehicle since 2011.
