American YouthWorks Power Hour – Environmental Corps

Environmental Corps (E-Corps) is a green jobs training and service program that allows youth and young adults to build and restore the natural environment through parks and trails projects, forestry, and habitat restoration throughout the state of Texas and beyond. Members learn cutting-edge environmental job skills while pursuing their education and improving their test scores and attitudes. You are invited to hear more about E-Corps from the Director, Chris Sheffield, and program participants. Take a short, E-Corps member led tour of some of our projects on the Greenbelt, enjoy lunch and ask questions. Lunch is provided and space is limited so please RSVP to Rachel Matvy, rmatvy@americanyouthworks.org, or 512.744.1904. There will be a short hike on the Greenbelt, less than 10 minutes, but please wear comfortable shoes. In case of inclement weather, we will hold the event at American YouthWorks.
