Nature in the City is proud to present a new lunchtime lecture. Join us for Agriculture in a Changing Environment: Farmer Adaptations in the Peruvian Andes and Central Texas.
Based on fieldwork done in southern Peru and Central Texas, this talk will cover how farmers in both regions face similar climate changes and their responses using a variety of agricultural adaptations. The talk will focus on the impacts of climate change, but will also cover how other agricultural challenges such as market prices, invasive species, and migration must be understood to ensure sustainability.
