“A Verdant Future: Adaptability, Diversity & Prosperity for a Warming City”

TreeFolks will present at the Dimension Gallery on Saturday April 7, from 2-3pm. Dimension Gallery is hosting a series of talks to forge connections between art and science in the Austin community. The talks are in conjunction with the Inevitable Reckoning exhibit by artist Nick Schnitzer that focuses on the science and storytelling of climate change. Come hear Dr. Sarah Dooling discuss the implications of changing local conditions in Austin – from heat, to deepening income inequities and intensifying development pressure – on where, how and what we can plant to create a cooler, safer, and more equitable urban environment.
