Chris Searles, a native Austinite, founded BioIntegrity in 2014. The company’s mission is to help today’s most powerful, global, environmental solutions succeed as fast as possible. Chris will talk about how each of us can significantly contribute to solving both climate change and the species extinction crisis by protecting bio-critical ecosystems, highlight some of the many benefits of protecting earth’s extremely threatened biological integrity, and connect attendees to several of today’s most economically efficient opportunities for doing so.
Chris is founder of the green business GoodCommonSense and the outdoor green living festival Sustainable Shopper’s Ball!, and a founding board member of Austin’s Interfaith Environmental Network. He also served on the board of Tree Folks and successfully led initiatives to increase transparency and clean energy investments for the City of Austin’s electric utility, Austin Energy. Additionally, Chris works from time to time as a professional drummer, performing locally. In the past he has performed with musicians such as Shawn Colvin, John Prine, and Bruce Springsteen.  Join us in learning how you can help the world’s most impactful environmental solutions succeed. Together, the future can be so bright!
