  • Come one, come all! The City of Austin’s Office of Sustainability invites you to join us in celebrating a momentous achievement: since its founding in 2012, we’ve awarded over $1 million to Austin-area schools to implement sustainability projects through the Bright Green Future Grants program.

Enjoy music, food, games, and activities as we celebrate our ongoing commitment towards a bright green future in Austin. Take a ride in the bike rodeo with Ghisallo Cycling Initiative or step right up to the seed-ball-making station.

The event is free to attend, and students, teachers, and families across Austin are especially encouraged to join us.

    GETTING THERE
Street parking is available along Jesse S. Segovia Street, but we encourage all attendees to please consider taking sustainable transportation options to the event.

BIKING: Bike parking will be available to attendees.

BUS: The nearest CapMetro stops are:

    • Route 322 to Holly/Chalmers
    • Route 2 to Cesar Chavez/Robert Martinez

You can plan your trip on CapMetro’s website. Students under 18 ride free.

CARPOOL: Come represent your campus by organizing a carpool with other students and families at your school.
