Join other fabulous Austin Women for the 2nd Annual Austin Women’s Clothing Swap!
In 2009, over 200 women helped raise nearly $1500 and 2,000 pounds of clothes at the Austin Women’s Clothing Swap. This year, we look for your support to help the Swap grow!
On March 6th, 2010 women from all over Central Texas will join to share their lightly used clothing, shoes, accessories and other donated items while enjoying the company of other women, live music, food + drinks, and other amenities to include hair cuts, a fashion show, raffle drawings, a silent auction and more. All of the unclaimed items will go to Safe Place and door, raffle and silent auction donations will go to the beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries include Women for Women International and Safe Place as well as The Feminist Action Project: Examining Intersections, Building Alliances, a student driven conference at UT.

This all-volunteer event is being created by fabulous women just like you in partnership with local businesses, local and international charities, musicians and many other friends. If you’d like to get involved, just message us! And, now is the time to start cleaning out those closets!
