2013 MLK Memorial Service Days at Urban Roots Farm

Calling all community volunteers, farm lovers, gardeners, do-gooders, and anyone wanting to make a difference in their community this MLK weekend! Help Urban Roots honor Martin Luther King, Jr.’s commitment to social justice and community action by participating in our 2013 MLK Memorial Service Days at the farm. The two 3-hour volunteer sessions will offer an orientation, an opportunity to do a variety of farm tasks, a learning activity, and a wrap up. Don’t take the day off—make a difference in your community!

Two volunteer sessions available:
Saturday, January 19th, 1 – 4 p.m.
Monday, January 21st, 1 – 4 p.m.
