The League of Women Voters Austin Area (LWV-AA) presented its first ever Friend of the League Award to Bob Gregory, CEO and principal owner of Texas Disposal Systems, at its 26th annual State of the City Fundraising Dinner and Auction earlier this month.
Gregory has been a League supporter for many years, positively influencing the organization’s ability to achieve its mission. He is a regular supporter of the League’s fundraisers and contributes to the publication of the Voters Guide, funded and published by the League of Women Voters of Texas Education Fund and the LWV-AA.
The League honored Gregory by thanking him for his consistent and generous support of the organization’s efforts.
“When we considered nominations for our Friend of the League award there was one clear choice – Bob Gregory and Texas Disposal Systems,” said LWV-AA President Cinde Weatherby. “Bob has been a tried and true League supporter for many years.”
