Are you an avid bus-rider? KUT needs your help. They’re looking for nominations for the best and worst bus stops in Austin for a story they’re working on.
Questions they’re asking include:
- Does your stop have correct signage?
- Does it have shade?
- Is it easy to access?
- Does it have seating?
The idea for the project is inspired by plans from Capital Metro to build a signature station at the MetroRail stop near the Austin Convention Center. The $22 million project will include upgrades to shade passengers waiting at the Fourth Street commuter train stop. As KUT notes on its website, that got them thinking about the other 2,649 CapMetro bus stops out there that might not be getting that kind of love and attention. You can make your nominations here>>
