Austin Earth Day Festival 2013 to Showcase Local Austin Community as “Earth City Austin”

2013 Festival adds live music and a rhythmic rally finale telling "The Story of Energy in Texas"

Austin, Texas, March 26th, 2013:  Austin Earth Day Festival 2013 returns to the "Historic Browning Hangar" at Mueller Development on Saturday, April 20th, 2013, noon-7:00pm. 

Produced by Texas Green Network in partnership with Mueller, City of Austin and the local environmental community, the one day event will be packed with activities for all ages with an inspiring "rhythmic rally finale" at 5:00pm telling "The Story of Energy in Texas".  The rally will feature "Austin Beyond Coal", Jim Hightower, X8 Interactive Drumming, LA MOÑA LOCA! salsa orchestra and more.
