Looking for a way to support all the amazing nonprofits who are helping Austinites recover from the winter storm? Or the pandemic? What about the hundreds of organizations who are working hard each and every day to make Austin a more equitable, sustainable, and happy place to live?
That’s where Amplify Austin Day comes in.
Each year, Amplify Austin Day brings our community together to help raise millions for local nonprofit organizations. This year, the goal is to get even more people involved in the effort, doubling participation to 60,000 donors.
So how can you get involved?
Amplify Austin Day runs from 6pm on March 4th to 6pm on March 5th.
Visit AmplifyATX.org to search through a list of 675+ nonprofits from across Central Texas, all sorted by cause and category. The website makes it super easy to find a nonprofit working on an issue that’s near and dear to your heart.
On AmplifyATX.org you’ll be able to make a donation to the nonprofit of your choice, right there online.
Help spread the word by using the hashtag #ILiveHereIGiveHere. If we all come together to give as little as $5 each, the impact on Central Texas will be transformational.
Tune in to Amplify LIVE, a virtual experience (produced in partnership with C3 Presents) featuring local musicians and celebrities to raise awareness for Amplify Austin Day. You can watch the livestream on AmplifyATX.org.
PS – In response to the winter storm, I Live Here I Give Here (the organization that hosts Amplify Austin Day) has also launched a matching Amplify Disaster Relief Fund that benefits 130+ nonprofits on the AmplifyATX.org giving site whose missions focus on Basic Needs, Disaster Relief & Emergency Response, Human Services, and/or Housing, Shelter & Homelessness. You can learn how to donate to that effort here.
