Now that classes have moved online for local students, there are thousands of Austinites in jeopardy of missing out on their education because they lack access to a computer. Luckily, there’s a way you can help.

AISD has partnered with Austin Free-Net and Ruckify (a peer-to-peer rental marketplace) to get electronics into the hands of students who need it.

Here’s how it works:

• Simply go through your house and collect any tablets, laptops, or computers that you’re not using.

• Visit this website, fill out the form, and select whether you want to lend or donate your items.

• Ruckify will pick up your items and make sure they get delivered to students in need.

• If you choose to loan out your equipment, it will be insured under Ruckify’s coverage for damages or if anything goes missing.
