Free Pizza, BYOB, Clean Energy and Green Jobs! Phone calls for a new economy.

I’m sure you all know that Obama’s really critical & timely climate legislation is on the line. This bill could create millions of new, green jobs and transition our economy to be powered by clean, renewable energy that can’t be outsourced. Whatever the outcome of this bill–it’s going to have a MAJOR impact in Texas. We also know that the opposition will be out in full force, so we have to show our grassroots power!

Can you join us? We’ll be making calls every Monday from 6-8 at the Austin Sierra Club office, 1202 San Antonio. If you’re a student, we’re making calls on campus too!

We have some really neat new technology that will actually allow us to call other Sierra Club members in swing states, and we can patch them through to their Senators office to leave a message about the importance of this climate bill!!

We need to make hundreds of calls from Texas this month to show strong support for passing good Climate legislation. Can you join us Monday from 6-8pm?
