18 Aug Air Quality Press Conference at Austin City Hall

Today at 9:30 a.m. at Austin City Hall an important 30-minute press conference took place with Lee Leffingwell, Austin Mayor and new CLEAN AIR Force Board Member; Jim Marston, CAF Board Chair; and David Dalke, IBM– Austin Environmental Affairs and a Clean Air Partner.  

As Central Texas moves into the historically worst part of ozone season, urgent public action is needed to ensure healthy air and to avert possible state and federal sanctions.  We recognized Clean Air Partners in attendance, as well as CLEAN AIR Force Board, TAC and PI members, so thank you to those of you who came there in support of our public education efforts.
