Natural Building – The Owner/General Contractor Perspective

Mari Wylie will tell us how she, a retired physical therapist (what world are you/were you in before the urge to build naturally bit you?)
– became the GC for her straw bale home
– confronted challenges
– learned what could have been done differently (feedback from architect Ben Obregon and husband)
– acquired the advantages and the benefits of self-directed, in-the-real-world learning
– pulled together all necessary parts and processes together

Thus, creating a natural home for herself, her husband, homes for each of their ageing mothers plus space and amenities for visiting children and grandchildren in an established neighborhood.
