Republic Square Master Plan Update and Phase II Design/Construction A team of consultants has been at work identifying plans for a redesign of Republic Square. We are interested in your ideas! Come to the next public meeting to see how your ideas have influenced the working documents to date. The public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ballet Austin offices, 501 West 3rd Street, in downtown Austin. We will be comparing several alternatives against the goals and metrics prescribed by stakeholders and the public in April and May and an on-line survey. Operations and management options for the park will be explored to ensure it will be well taken care of in the future. Finally, recommendations for the surrounding area will be discussed to ensure the park is supported and enhanced by surrounding development.
