Barton Springs Master Plan Meeting

Please come out Thursday night for a meeting of the Joint Parks and Environmental Board Committee on proposed development of the south side of Barton Springs. Agenda items will include: options for the south entry gate; new ticket booth; perimeter fence style; and south fence alignment.

We are in favor of keeping the south hill and entire south side of Barton Springs natural and undeveloped. We prefer that these funds for the south side be redirected to protecting Barton Springs water quality and spring flows and to better maintenance of the existing grounds.

We invite all Barton Springs swimmers to come have their voice heard (whether you agree with our views or not).
