Barton Springs Pool Master Plan Meeting

The public is invited to the Joint Committee of the Parks and Recreation Board and Environmental Board. The Joint Committee focuses solely on the Barton Springs Pool Master Plan and its resulting short-term improvement projects.

At the Austin Nature and Science Center in the Multipurpose Room, 301 Nature Center Drive
Agenda items will include:
- New proposed artwork location outside of the south gate
- Options for new south entry gate
- Options for south gate columns
- Proposed ticket booth at south gate
- Proposed perimeter fence
- Options for locations to transplant a pecan tree from Congress Avenue to Barton Springs
- Tree planting and heritage tree maintenance plans for volunteers (citizen presentation)
- Tree stewards program (citizen presentation)
