The Mother Earth Day Festival at the Springs has been re-scheduled for Friday, May 18, in Zilker Park, 9 a.m. – 1p.m., across from Hillside Theater.

Now in its 11th year, the child- and family-friendly festival celebrates all things Barton Springs, featuring music by Sara Hickman, Hey Lollies, and Bill Oliver and the Otter Space Band, plus aquatic science exhibits, art activities, magic, Maypole, and pirates! Come make your own Salamander Sock Puppet, learn about aquatic wildlife, and dance to some great music.

Sponsors include City of Austin Cultural Arts Division, Texas Commission on the Arts, Save Barton Creek Association, Save Our Springs Alliance, Texas River School, Austin City Council and many more. Produced by Bill Oliver.
