Public Space Discussion with United Communities Action Coalition

The intersection between public space, community building and sustainability is an often overlooked area in city politics. The discussion group will be to explore the concept of community building and how it may apply to the occupy movement. We will be discussing different projects and ways to design a functioning public space to actually create a stronger community. Basic Idea: drawing people to the space. We will potentially be walking/rolling about and sharing ideas on how to transform spaces as examples and to draw out inspiration from the group.
