Who We Are:

Formerly known as Solid Waste Services, Austin Resource Recovery provides residential curbside collection of trash, recycling and yard trimmings in the City of Austin. Additional services include sweeping streets, collecting dead animals, operating a drop-off center for household hazardous waste and collecting bulk items and large brush.

    • Join Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) for our summer Zero Waste Resource Fairs. We will provide information on composting for multifamily properties. You can pick up a free kitchen compost collector (one per household) and enjoy compostable snacks while supplies last! Also, meet with other City of Austin departments to learn about their programs, including some that promote zero waste and sustainability.
