National Plug-In Day: A Celebration of Electric Vehicles

Come see the present and future of plug in electric vehicles (EV)! Test drive an EV, ask EV owners about their cars, and learn about the environmental and economic benefits of switching from gas to electricity.

We will have vehicles from Austin EV Club members, gas car conversions by Revolt Custom Electric Vehicles, and Ford Motor's Transit Connect and Focus Electric. Electric Avenue Scooters and Alien Scooters will also be there.

There will be free rides from Electric Cab of Austin and GRIDbot Networked Electric Vehicle Charging Stations will be on hand to demonstrate their stations.

Plug-In Day is a nationwide observance that will draw unprecedented attention to the environmental and other benefits of plug-in vehicles (electric cars, plug-in hybrid electric cars, scooters, and bicycles) through simultaneous EV events staged in a dozen major cities coast to coast.
