Solar Austin has organized a panel to discuss how Central Texas utility Co-Ops are provide neighboring communities with renewable energy. The discussion will focus on the direction planned by our local Co-Ops relative to Renewables and Energy Efficiency programs – including any rebates.
On the panel are:
- RB Sloan, President and CEO, Pedernales Electric Co-Op
- Mark Rose, President and CEO, Bluebonnet Electric Co-Op
Located at Spider House 29th Street Ballroom, 2908 Fruth St with entrance on 29th Street the panel discussion is Wednesday, October 12, 2011, 5pm mixer, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. with speakers at 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Solar Austinis a non-profit organization working to accelerate the transition to clean renewable energy, building healthy communities, strong economies, and energy independence. Johnson (LBJ) School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas (UT) at Austin to determine the steps needed for Austin Energy to become a sustainable and carbon neutral utility by 2020.
